Hey, welcome to Bookishly. The name is Swati Rohidas. But, you can call me Queen B, I do respond to that as well. What can I say, I love “Royals” from Lorde. No, I am not planning world domination, yet. With the number of people already trying to take over the world, it’s not a niche market anymore.

I live in Mumbai, India. I’m in my thirties. I have a Master’s degree in Computer Science.

Were you named after anyone?

Nope. But, in Hindu astrology there are 27 constellations; Swati is one of them. I was named after it.

What do you love to do?

I love to read. I read anything and everything from contemporary to historical fiction. However, somehow self-motivation/self-help books are not my favorites. I love sketching and painting as well. I used to play harmonium, not anymore. I am a queen of sarcastic one-liners; but if you ask my sister, she will say they are just very poor jokes.

I am a self-proclaimed book nerd. I read, read and read. I also love discussing books with my friends. With this blog, I wish to share my thoughts, knowledge with like-minded people. Sometimes you may also come across very entertaining posts about mathematics, history, and even current world affairs. What can I say, I am a Gemini. We are diverse like that.
